Irina Sheik, born Irina Shaykhlislamova on January 6, 1986 in Yemanzhelinsk, is a Russian fashion model known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and as the face of the following brands Armani Exchange, Guess, Intimissimi, Beach Bunny, Lacoste, LaPerla.
After winning the 2004 “Miss Chelyabinsk” beauty pageant, a scout recommended Shayk pursue a career as a model, and since 2005 she started to work in Europe and USA.
In 2007, she became the face of Intimissimi (a role she had until 2009) and she also starred in an Intimissimi commercial photographed by Greg Cadel in 2009.
Since 2007 Irina Shayk appears every year in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, working with such world wide known photographers as Pamela Hanson, Steve Erle, Riccardo Tinelli, Rennio Maifredi and Raphael Mazucco and shooting in the most beautiful places such as St Petersburg, Naples Grenada and Chile.

In 2010 Irina Shayk starred in the project of Kanye West “Power” directed by artist Marco Brambilla.
Irina Shayk is helping a maternity hospital in her home town, Yemanzhelinsk. She and her sister helped rebuild the children’s ward of the local hospital, and now Irina Shayk raises money on behalf of a Russian charity, Pomogi, which provides care to sick children
